Why I do It
Writing (words or music) has always been one of the most intimate things I can do, that's why I can communicate some things only in writing, and it's much better that way. Verba Volant, Scripta Manent, the Latins said, and I think they were right. Some say creation is about discovering that each one has its Demons, which live inside you for life, and that if you are lucky, you can learn to control them. 

A director always directs the same movie, and only in the sum of all his films is the true meaning of what he wanted to say, and, usually, the first and last works coincide without resembling each other. The same happens for the writer and the musician: the same book, song…Always searching for that thing that can almost be touched, defined, captured, using a word or tune. 

But what is that thing?  What is the object of this frantic search?  What is the name of the Demon that keeps me awake at night and that I could not live without? What is the name of my obsession? It has many names and many faces. Sometimes that demon It's me, sometimes it's reality, maybe life itself is a prankish Demon who likes to play with us, and I let him play. 

Because I like it when life surprises me and an event arouses my curiosity, I love it when I can feel the slow, deep breath of the world, even if only for a moment. Music proves that the world is still breathing and that my reality, although surreal, can still surprise me. It's here that the story I want to tell everyone begins: we are still only at the beginning, or rather, at the prologue.

3rd-person bio: 

MM has always been passionate about music, technology, and electronics. As a child, he was exposed to various musical styles, which would later influence his sound. At the age of 26, MM began to explore music production. He was particularly fascinated with the possibilities of electronic music and began teaching himself how to make beats and manipulate sounds. Through trial and error, he began cultivating a sound uniquely his own. In 2008, he moved to Lisbon and began to focus on perfecting his production skills. There he met various mentors, and this experience exposed him to new production techniques and helped him refine his sound further. In 2013, MM released his debut EP, “LandWalks.” Since then, he has released several EPs and singles. MM’s songs incorporate synthesizers and drum machines to create atmospheric and moody soundscapes. MM’music is a blend of introspective, emotive, and punchy production that creates a distinctive and compelling sound.
